Cinnamon French Toast Bites
Cinnamon French Toast Bites are crispy on the outside and fluffy inside.

thick slices slightly stale white bread
1 inch thick

large eggs
or 3 small eggs
1/4
cup
milk
Pinch
of salt
1/4
cup
white sugar
1/2
teaspoon
cinnamon powder

tablespoons
butter
divided
Maple syrup
for serving
Instructions
Cut crusts off the bread slices. Cut each slice into 9 equal cubes.
In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and salt.
In a shallow bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
Melt 1 1/2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Do not let it brown.
Quickly toss half the bread cubes in the egg mixture. Shake off excess.
Place cubes in the skillet and sauté, turning frequently, until browned on all sides (about 2–3 minutes).
Transfer immediately into the cinnamon sugar mixture and toss to coat evenly.
Repeat with remaining butter and bread cubes.
Serve Cinnamon French Toast Bites immediately with maple syrup for dipping.
Notes
• Serve with fresh berries for balance.
