Cinnamon Apple Quesadillas

Cinnamon Apple Quesadillas are made with caramelized apples, honey, maple syrup, and cinnamon.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Honeycrisp apple diced
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon or more to taste
  • 1 pinch brown sugar
  • 2 large 11-inch flour tortillas

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-low heat.
  • Add diced apple, corn syrup, honey, maple syrup, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
  • Cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until apples soften and become lightly caramelized. Transfer mixture to a bowl.
  • Place one tortilla in the same skillet over medium-low heat. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the tortilla.
  • Top with the second tortilla.
  • Cook for 1–3 minutes until the bottom tortilla is golden brown. Carefully flip and cook another 1–3 minutes until both sides are crisp and golden.
  • Remove from skillet, slice into wedges, and serve warm.
  • These Cinnamon Apple Quesadillas are best enjoyed fresh while the filling is warm and gooey.

Notes

  • Serve with vanilla ice cream for a decadent dessert.
