Cinnamon Apple Quesadillas

Cinnamon Apple Quesadillas are made by caramelizing apples with cinnamon and syrup, then cooking them between tortillas until golden and warm.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Honeycrisp apple diced
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon or more to taste
  • 1 pinch brown sugar
  • 2 large flour tortillas 11-inch

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add diced apple, corn syrup, honey, maple syrup, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
  • Cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and lightly caramelized. Transfer the mixture to a bowl.
  • Place one tortilla in the same skillet over medium-low heat. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the tortilla.
  • Top with the remaining tortilla. Cook for 1–3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
  • Carefully flip and cook the other side for another 1–3 minutes until golden.
  • Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm. These Cinnamon Apple Quesadillas are best enjoyed fresh.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or a drizzle of extra honey. You can also sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving.
