Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate large bowl, cream cold cubed butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  • Transfer dough onto the prepared baking sheet and press into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Use a knife or pizza cutter to lightly score into fry-sized strips.
  • Chill the dough for 10–15 minutes to help maintain shape.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  • While still warm, slice through the scored lines.
  • Let the Chocolate Chip Cookie Fries cool completely on a rack to crisp up.

Notes

  • Store dough rectangle pre-scored and freeze for later baking.
