Cherry Delight Recipe

Creamy Cherry Delight is an easy no-bake dessert made with a graham cracker crust, fluffy cream cheese filling, and cherry pie topping.

Ingredients
  

Crust

  • cups graham cracker crumbs
  • cup confectioners' sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter melted

Filling

  • 1 package 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 carton 8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed (about 3 cups)

Topping

  • 1 can 21 ounces cherry pie filling

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, confectioners' sugar, and melted butter.
  • Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 8-inch square pan to form the crust.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until fully combined.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
  • Spoon the cherry pie filling over the top, spreading gently to cover the filling.
  • Refrigerate the Cherry Delight Recipe for at least 1 hour, or until fully set.
  • Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Fresh whipped cream can be substituted for frozen whipped topping.
  • Garnish with fresh cherries for an elegant presentation.
  • Serve with coffee, tea, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • For a thicker crust, increase graham cracker crumbs to 2 cups.
