Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are crispy tortillas stuffed with chicken, garlic, melted cheese, and a creamy sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large tortillas regular, low-carb, or high-protein
  • 7 ounces cooked chicken chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced or grated
  • 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon light Greek yogurt or plain yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • ΒΌ teaspoon salt
  • 3 ounces grated cheese cheddar blend or favorite cheese
  • 1 green onion chopped
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, combine the chopped chicken, garlic, mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, hot sauce, and salt.
  • Stir until the mixture is evenly coated.
  • Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface.
  • Sprinkle approximately 2 tablespoons of grated cheese on the lower third of the tortilla.
  • Add about β…” cup of the chicken mixture over the cheese.
  • Sprinkle another tablespoon of cheese over the filling.
  • Add a small amount of chopped green onion.
  • Fold both sides of the tortilla inward.
  • Roll tightly from the bottom to form a secure wrap.
  • Repeat with the second tortilla.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Lightly spray the skillet with olive oil.
  • Place the wraps seam-side down in the pan.
  • Cook for 3–4 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Flip and cook for another 3–4 minutes.
  • Cover with a lid during cooking to help melt the cheese and heat the filling thoroughly.
  • Remove from the skillet.
  • Slice in half and serve warm.

Notes

  • Rotisserie chicken is an excellent shortcut.
  • The filling can be prepared several days ahead.
  • For extra flavor, add smoked paprika or black pepper.
  • Low-carb tortillas work well in this recipe
