Ingredients
  

  • 6 ripe bananas sliced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple juice extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring until smooth and glossy.
  • Stir in vanilla extract and apple juice extract. Add bananas and cook until slightly softened.
  • Pour the banana mixture into the prepared dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add milk and stir until just combined.
  • Drop spoonfuls of batter over the bananas.
  • Drizzle melted butter on top.
  • Bake 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Cool slightly and serve warm. This banana foster cobbler is best enjoyed fresh.

Notes

  • Substitute almond milk or oat milk if needed
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
  • Can be baked in individual ramekins
