- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 2 1/3 cups mashed overripe bananas
Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
Mix dry ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Cream butter and sugar
In a separate bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar together with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
Add eggs and bananas
Stir in the beaten eggs and mashed bananas until well blended.
Combine the mixtures
Gradually stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Pour the batter
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake the banana bread
