Baked Fish with Lemon Garlic Butter

Baked Fish with Lemon Garlic Butter is a quick oven-baked seafood recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 ½ lb white fish fillets
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Minced parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a small pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Zest the lemon using a fine grater and add the zest to the garlic butter. Stir gently to combine.
  • Slice the lemon into thin rounds and place the slices evenly on the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Pat the white fish fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • Season both sides of the fish with sea salt and black pepper.
  • Place the fish fillets on top of the lemon slices in the baking dish.
  • Spoon or brush the lemon garlic butter evenly over the fish.
  • Bake the Baked Fish with Lemon Garlic Butter for 10–12 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with freshly minced parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve this baked fish with roasted vegetables, steamed rice, or garlic mashed potatoes.
