Ingredients

  • 2 apples Granny Smith, Red Gala, Fuji, or any variety
  • 1 ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter unsweetened
  • 1 ½ tablespoon organic honey
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips + extra for topping
  • ½ teaspoon coconut oil
  • Toppings optional:
  • Dark chocolate chips
  • Desiccated coconut
  • Toasted nuts

Instructions

  • Wash the apples thoroughly and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
  • Slice apples using a mandolin slicer or apple corer. If using a corer, cut each slice into thinner pieces.
  • Drizzle lemon juice over the apple slices and toss gently to prevent browning.
  • Arrange the slices neatly on a serving plate.
  • In one bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil. In another bowl, mix peanut butter with honey.
  • Microwave both bowls for 15 seconds, then stir until smooth. Repeat if needed.
  • Drizzle the melted peanut butter over the apples, followed by the chocolate. For cleaner presentation, use zip-lock bags to drizzle.
  • Sprinkle additional toppings as desired.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
