Ingredients

For the Salmon

  • 4 salmon fillets 4 ounces/115 g each
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  • Arrange the fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each piece.
  • Season both sides with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Cook the Air Fryer Salmon at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, depending on thickness. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Transfer the cooked salmon to a serving plate.
  • Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, stirring frequently.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the fresh lemon juice.
  • Spoon the warm garlic lemon butter sauce over the salmon before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices if desired.

Notes

  • Atlantic and sockeye salmon both work well.
  • Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
  • Add chopped parsley or dill for extra freshness.
  • For extra richness, sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan over the finished salmon.
