Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
Arrange the fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each piece.
Season both sides with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Cook the Air Fryer Salmon at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, depending on thickness. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Transfer the cooked salmon to a serving plate.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, stirring frequently.
Remove from the heat and stir in the fresh lemon juice.
Spoon the warm garlic lemon butter sauce over the salmon before serving.
Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices if desired.
