Air Fryer Pineapple – Tastes Like Grilled

Air Fryer Pineapple is caramelized with maple syrup and cinnamon.

Ingredients
  

For the Pineapple

  • 2 heaping cups sliced pineapple about ½ small pineapple
  • 1 tablespoon melted vegan butter or margarine optional
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Optional Chili Lime Dip

  • 3 tablespoons cashew cream or vegan mayo
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder

Instructions
 

  • Peel, core, and slice the pineapple. Measure about 2 heaping cups and place in a mixing bowl.
  • In a small bowl, combine melted vegan butter, maple syrup, and cinnamon.
  • Pour the mixture over the pineapple slices and gently toss until evenly coated.
  • Arrange slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket (slight overlap is fine).
  • Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until caramelized and lightly golden.
  • Serve warm or chilled.

Optional Dip:

  • Mix cashew cream (or vegan mayo), lime juice, and chili powder in a small bowl while the pineapple cooks. Serve alongside your Air Fryer Pineapple.

Notes

  • You can substitute honey for maple syrup if not strictly vegan.
