Air Fryer Fish Tacos

Air fryer fish tacos made with seasoned white fish.

Ingredients
  

For the Fish:

  • 1 ½ lb tilapia or white fish
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

For the Cilantro Lime Slaw:

  • 2 1/2 cups coleslaw mix
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

For Assembly:

  • Tortillas
  • Extra lime juice

Instructions
 

  • Spray the air fryer basket with oil.
  • In a small bowl, mix all spices, salt, and pepper.
  • Pat the fish dry and place in the air fryer basket.
  • Brush with olive oil and coat evenly with the spice mixture.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cook fish for 8–10 minutes until opaque and flaky.
  • While the fish cooks, combine all slaw ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  • Remove fish, break into pieces, and place into tortillas.
  • Top with cilantro lime slaw and a squeeze of lime.
  • These air fryer fish tacos are best served fresh for maximum flavor and texture.

Notes

You can swap mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a lighter slaw. These air fryer fish tacos also work well with whole wheat or corn tortillas.
