Air Fryer Chicken Fajitas
Juicy air fryer chicken fajitas. Ready in 20 minutes. Bold Tex-Mex flavor
Course Main Dish
Cuisine Tex-Mex
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound / 450g), cut into strips
- 1 red bell pepper sliced into ½-inch strips
- 1 yellow bell pepper sliced into ½-inch strips
- 1 green bell pepper sliced into ½-inch strips
- 1 red onion sliced into wedges
- 3 tablespoons fajita seasoning
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
Place the chicken strips in a large bowl. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with fajita seasoning. Toss until evenly coated.
Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the bowl. Toss again to ensure everything is well coated in seasoning.
Transfer the mixture to the air fryer basket in an even layer. Cook for 15 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender with slightly charred edges.
Serve hot with warmed tortillas, pico de gallo, avocado slices, or guacamole.
These air fryer chicken fajitas can also be served over rice, in lettuce wraps, or as a fajita bowl for a low-carb option.
