Air Fryer Canned Biscuit Donuts (Quick & Easy)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 26-ounce tube refrigerated Grand-size flaky biscuits
  • Coconut oil spray or olive oil spray avoid vegetable or canola oil spray
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 cup 1 stick butter, melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 360°F.
  • Remove the biscuits from the can and cut a hole in the center of each using a donut cutter or small round cutter.
  • Lightly coat the air fryer basket with oil spray.
  • Place the donuts in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between them.
  • Air fry for 5 minutes, or until puffed and lightly golden.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Mix well.
  • Place the melted butter in a separate bowl.
  • Using a fork inserted into the donut hole, dip each donut into the melted butter, then coat generously in the spiced sugar mixture. Shake off excess sugar.
  • Place donuts on a rack to cool slightly and repeat with remaining donuts.
  • Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
  • For donut holes, air fry for 3 minutes and coat the same way

Notes

Powdered sugar can be used instead of cinnamon sugar for a classic finish.
