Air Fryer Baked Potato

Air Fryer Baked Potato is quick and easy.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium russet or Idaho potatoes
  • Olive oil spray
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional toppings: sour cream Greek yogurt, butter, chili, chives, broccoli, cheese

Instructions
 

  • Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly.
  • Pierce each potato several times with a fork.
  • Lightly spray the potatoes with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Place potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway through.
  • Check doneness by inserting a knife—it should slide in easily.
  • Remove and let cool slightly.
  • Slice open and add your favorite toppings. This Air Fryer Baked Potato is best served warm.

Notes

  • Use sweet potatoes for variation
  • Add shredded cheese and herbs for extra flavor
  • Turn into a full meal with protein toppings
