Ingredients
  

For the Fries

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

For the Chili

  • 2 cups chili vegetarian or beef, halal-friendly

Toppings

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream optional
  • 3 tablespoons chopped green onions

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Wash, dry, and cut potatoes into thick fries. Pat dry thoroughly.
  • Toss fries with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Bake in a single layer for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Warm chili over medium heat for 5–7 minutes.
  • Sprinkle cheese over fries and return to oven until melted.
  • Top with hot chili, sour cream, and green onions. Serve immediately and enjoy these Chili Cheese Fries.

Notes

Serve with extra chili or cheese sauce on the side. Add jalapeños or olives for added texture.
