4 Ingredient Chocolate Cake (Healthy & Flourless)

A 4 Ingredient Chocolate Cake made with bananas, cocoa, eggs, and maple syrup.

Ingredients
  

  • 383 g overripe bananas about 1.5 cups + 3 tbsp puree
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp Dutch process cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C).
  • Grease a 6-inch round springform pan and line it with parchment paper.
  • Add bananas, cocoa powder, eggs, and maple syrup to a blender.
  • Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 60–70 minutes until the center is set and the top is slightly cracked.
  • Let the 4 Ingredient Chocolate Cake cool completely.
  • Refrigerate for several hours to firm up before slicing.

Notes

  • Top with fresh berries or a light cocoa glaze
  • Add dark chocolate chips for extra richness
  • Works well as a healthy birthday cake alternative
