- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup long grain white rice uncooked
- 1 ½ cups water
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
Place chicken breasts in the dish and season with salt and pepper.
Pour uncooked rice evenly over the chicken.
Sprinkle onion soup mix on top.
In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup with water until smooth.
Pour the mixture evenly over the casserole.
Cover tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the chicken is fully cooked.
