Bring 2 cups of salted water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
Add the dry pasta and cook according to package directions, about 10 minutes, until tender.
While the pasta cooks, slice the chicken into strips and chop the onion and bell pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the onion and bell pepper and sauté for 1–2 minutes until slightly softened.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the chicken strips, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cook until the chicken is browned and nearly cooked through.
Pour in the marinara sauce and stir well.
Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Drain the cooked pasta and add it directly to the skillet.
Toss everything together until evenly coated.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the pasta and stir gently until melted.
If desired, place under the broiler for 2–3 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Top the 15 Minute Chicken Pasta with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
