10-Min Cheese Garlic Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 baguette about 1 foot long
  • 4 tablespoons butter softened
  • ½ teaspoon salt if using unsalted butter
  • 2.5 cups grated mozzarella and cheddar cheese
  • 3 tablespoons chili flakes
  • 6 –8 cloves garlic minced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (300°F).
  • Slice the baguette into ¾-inch thick pieces.
  • In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and salt (if needed).
  • Spread the garlic butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  • Top generously with grated cheese and sprinkle chili flakes.
  • Place the slices directly on oven racks or a baking tray.
  • Bake for 5–6 minutes until the cheese melts and edges turn crispy

Notes

  • You can swap baguette with any crusty bread.
  • Adjust chili flakes based on spice preference.
  • Add sweet corn or olives for variation.
